The
past three weeks have been deadline focused making it unable for me to continue
sampling around my major project. With all the resources and research I have
collected over the past few weeks I have revisited my primary research from original
photographs to drawings which has enabled me to create new collages.
Primary Research photographs focusing on texture tone and colour to enable me to create new collages.
Focusing
on texture, surface and space, these collages combine, stitch, scale colour and
drawing these collages are still inspired by the Dada movement and I have in
particular been looking at the work of Hannah Hoch and her timeless collages. Although
she uses figure, the combination of a found image and placement is very similar
to my work. The colour and similar tones make her work unique and recognisable
like mine.
